The Vung Tau Lighthouse (Hai Dang Vung Ta u) is a historic lighthouse located in Vung Tau, a coastal city in southern Vietnam's Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The lighthouse was built in 1862 by the French colonial government and was one of the first modern lighthouses in Indochina.
Built in 1974, Jesus Christ's Statue is 32 m high, 18.3 m long arm. Standing on a height of 170 m overlooking the sea. It took 133 stair steps to reach the hands. The statue can be seen as a similar version in the city of Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.
